The current second owner/restorer, who had a vision, searched far and wide to find the perfect specimen for this high buck restoration/modernization! Why, he specifically wanted a 1957 Ford and it had to be absolutely rust free! The exhausting search ended in the dry deserts of New Mexico! Once acquired, she was shipped back to Wisconsin for a thorough and painstaking restoration where she was stripped and every square inch was massaged to perfection by the owners well known restoration shop. A complete and no expense spared frame off restoration/modernization that would take over two years to complete! The goal was to retain all of the original beauty of a 57 Ford while incorporating a late model all Ford power-train for safe and enjoyable operation! Mission accomplished.....

A complete and total frame off restoration! The absolutely solid "Rust Free" body was removed from the chassis/frame and disassembled for the ultimate perfection in every detail. While the body was being prepared and finalized with a professional coat of single stage PPG Concept 1 Urethane in a Two-Tone Colonial White/Powder Blue, all of the wonderful factory stainless trim/chrome was either polished or re-plated to show quality standards! Yes, the Hood and Trunk Emblems are 100% factory original! All new tinted safety glass, channels and rubbers. Whistle Straight, No Paint Lines and Mirror Like Reflections incorporate nicely with subtle colors that capture her stoic factory lines perfectly! From the trunk pans to every jamb, exceptional.......

The chassis/frame was stripped, sandblasted and painted prior to re-assembly. Once ready, all suspension was rebuilt/fitted with Power Rack-n-Pinion Steering, Granada Drop Spindles, Power Disc Brakes, Front/Rear Stabilizers, new Front/Rear Springs and Ford 9" Rear Differential with hi-way friendly 3:00 gears! For the ultimate in a classic look, ride and handling, the rolling stock was completed with Polished American Racing Wheels fitted with P215R70/15 & P225R70/15 Radial Rubber....

Now the true blue Ford power would be installed between the legs. Starting with a Ford 351 Windsor 300HP factory crate engine equipped with GT-40 cylinder heads, MSD Electronic Distributor, Taylor Plug Wires, Holley 600 Street Avenger Carb, Weiand Aluminum Intake Manifold and finally classic Motorsport Dress. Expelling the spent fuel is a RARE set of jet-hot coated 351 Cobra exhaust manifolds flowing into tightly fitted dual exhaust. All of the front accessories are driven with a Serpentine Belt System which includes a GM single wire 155 amp Alternator, Reverse Flow Water Pump, Power Steering Pump and Sanden 608 Air Conditioning Compressor. Cooling is kept cool as a cucumber with a custom 4 Row Radiator and Spal 18" thermostatically controlled electric fan. Transferring the plentiful power is a tight shifting Ford C4 automatic transmission with external tubular cooler. Tediously fitted "Its A Snap" wiring connects it all together! Very nice.....
